Actually, I read that exact same post. And saw Walking With Monsters. Notably, when there’s no evidence, anything could be true. So the chances are 50-50. there’s no evidence that it grew to such sizes, but then that could mean they did. Besides, we never saw dinosaurs with skin on them. So raptors could have been in need of a diet and we couldn’t have known. However, I don’t beleive Crichton, either. Is that how you spell his name?

Well, I’m not to good with 1-by-two divison, but remember the 9 times tables:
Say I wanted to solve 5 times 9. I’ll put down my fifth finger, and the number that is the first digit is 4. The second digit is 5. 5 times 9 is 451

Hi Miles,

Nice blog,I found it very interesting to read!

you got one little fact wrong though (dont feel bad, the BBC did too).
I quote from wikipedia:
“In the BBC documentary Walking with Monsters (2005), a Carboniferous era species of Mesothelae was shown as being as large as a human head and shown hunting reptiles the size of today’s cats.

However, no spider that large has ever been found, but when the series began production the sea scorpion Megarachne was mistakenly believed to have been a spider.”

So Mesothelae was a primitive line of spiders. But there is no evidence that it grew to such sizes.

Apart from that Id say: keep up the good work!!
